‘CROSS-STITCH’

This adorable little chain bag is inspired by an almost 100 years old cross-stitch embroidery which was originally stitched by the great-grandmother of the artist Agnes Toth. Our Heritage Collection is based on traditional embroideries, we began this collection in 2020, and the Agnes Toth Studio will continue to discover the embroideries of various regions and the cultural heritage of Hungary and other countries. We admire the rich decorative traditions of folklore, and we aim to bring these elements of ancient ‘fashion’ back to our modern culture.
This piece of bag is a true example of great passion for heritage. Both sides are printed with a non-fading technique and the design is customized to follow the shape of the bag. The ’Marvelosa’ enamel branding hand painted in burgundy colour adds to the finished look. The little bag can carry enough for a night out, or a light afternoon walk. This is a precious piece, designed in Budapest, handcrafted locally with great attention to details. It will certainly bring joy in everyday use and on special occasions.
